“ Automatic Announcement System at Public Places for Deaf in ISL Synthetic Animations” is a Consortium project build by a group of like minded people working in the area of Indian Sign Language Translation. The aim of this project is to build a translation system which translates announcement of Most spoken Indian Languages (Scheduled Indian Languages) to Indian Sign Language.

The initial model was build by Deepali (P.hD. Research Scholar), Department of Computer Science, Punjabi University, Patiala under the Leadership of Dr. Vishal Goyal (Professor), Department of Computer Science, Punjabi University, Patiala and Dr. Lalit Goyal (Associate Professor), D.A.V. College, Jalandhar. With the Special help of Ms. Karishma Dhariwal, Research Assistant (Interpreter cum Signer) for Indian Sign Language.

After the successful completion of the initial model Dr. Vishal Goyal and Dr. Lalit Goyal have extended this project as a consortium model to support all Indian Languages.
